Busy rush hour expected due to rainy weather
This week is starting out rainy for the Netherlands and that could mean a busy rush hour on Monday morning, Weerplaza expects. The weather service expects between 200 and 400 kilometers of traffic jams on Dutch roads. Train traffic may also suffer under the weather, though indirectly through leafs falling on the track.
While Monday will be cloudy and miserable, maximum temperatures will still be above what is usual for this time of year, according to the weather service. Maximums of around 12 degrees are expected for most of the country, though in the south of Limburg thermometers may climb to 15 degrees or even higher.
Tuesday is also expected to be largely cloudy with showers. More sunshine is expected from Wednesday.
