Car crashes into Veldhoven terrace; five hurt

A car crashed into a terrace in the center of Veldhoven on Friday afternoon. Five people sustained minor injuries. The police believe that the incident was not intentional, NU.nl reports.

The car crashed into the terrace on Meiveld at around 5:00 p.m. The 62-year-old motorist was arrested. He was released after questioning. His driver's license was confiscated and he gave a blood sample to test for alcohol- or drug use, according to RTL Nieuws.

The victims were treated for their injuries. None of them were seriously hurt.
