Warm weather expected for Netherlands this week

After a cloudy and cool Sunday, the Netherlands can expect sunnier and warmer days this week. Temperatures will climb as the week progresses, though probably not as high as last week's heatwave, Weerplaza expects.

Monday's maximums will range from around 25 degrees on the coast to around 31 degrees in the east and southeast. There is a moderate wind coming from the southwest. The cloudy morning will turn increasingly sunny as the day goes on. And there is a chance of a storm in the western part of the country later in the afternoon.

On Tuesday there will be more chance of rain, but also more sunny periods. Maximum temperatures are expected to range from 24 degrees in the west to 30 degrees in the east.

The days thereafter will see climbing temperatures and more sunshine. Friday will likely be the hottest day of the coming week.
