Dutch man killed in Barcelona
A Dutch man was killed in a shooting in Barcelona on Monday. A second Dutch man was injured. The Spanish police believe the shooting was a settlement in the criminal circuit, RTL Nieuws reports.
The two Dutch were shot after they visited a night club in the El Poblenou district, according to the broadcaster. They were later found injured in a car. Emergency services tried to resuscitate the one man, but it was to no avail. The second man sustained injuries to his arm.
According to the Telegraaf, both Dutch had weapons on them.
The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs received no requests for aid in this case, for example in repatriating the killed man's body.
