Shots fired at Amsterdam home

Shots were fired at a home on Sinjeur Semeynsstraat in Amsterdam's Kolenkitbuurt on Tuesday morning. At least three bullets went through the window of the second floor home. As far as is known, no one was hurt, AT5 reports.

The motive for the shooting is not clear. The police closed down the street for investigation.

This is the third time a building in or around Amsterdam is targeted in a shooting in less than a week. On Friday shots were fired at a home in Diemen. A hand grenade was left at the scene. On Wednesday a butcher's shop on Van Wouwstraat was shot at. The male resident of the Diemen home was given an area ban. And the mayor closed the Amsterdam butchery, according to the broadcaster.
