Explosive thrown into Arnhem home

An explosive was thrown into a home on Heemskerckstraat in Arnhem during the early hours of Saturday morning. No one was injured. The police are investigating, De Gelderlander reports.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday. Someone broke a window in the home's front door and threw the explosive through it.

A police spokesperson confirmed to the newspaper that an "object was thrown through the window and caused a big bang". There was a lot of smoke, but no fire. The motive for this incident is not yet clear.
