Man shot in Venlo home

A 32-year-old man was injured in a shooting in a home on Van Speyckstraat in Venlo on Thursday evening. He was taken to hospital for treatment, ANP reports.

Exactly what happened is not yet clear. The victim called the police himself several hours after the shooting, according to the news wire.

The police are investigating.
