"Large parts of the building are no longer accessible due to the fire and there is considerable damage", the spokesperson said. The fire was first reported to the authorities around 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday. At that time there was no one in the building, according to the police spokesperson.

The fire cause a large amount of smoke. Local residents were warned to stay out of the smoke and keep their windows and doors closed.
