Body found in search for missing woman
On Friday the police found a body while searching for a woman missing in Nunspeet since Monday. The identity of the victim has not yet been established, the police said on Twitter.
The body was found based on a tip, and not in the area that the police were searching. The police closed down the area for investigation, and are also taking photos with a drone.
The woman left Nunspeet in her car around 9:00 p.m. on Monday. "She left in an overworked state", a spokesperson for the police said to De Stentor on Tuesday. "Her family is very worried and we share those concerns." The police did not release the woman's name, but did share her photo on Facebook.
The woman's car - a dark blue Citroen Saxo with dark and pink rims and a striking pink steering wheel cover - was found on Elspeterweg, near the Center for Personal Development, on Wednesday morning.
