Twelve football fans arrested for vandalism on train
The police arrested 12 football supporters at Roosendaal station during the early hours of Monday morning for damaging the train they were on in multiple ways.
The police received a report about the troublesome football fans around 00:20 a.m., NU.nl reports. Officers responded to Roosendaal station, and when the train arrived, removed the football supporters from the train one by one.
The suspects are between the ages of 17 and 21 years. They were arrested and taken to a police station. The police did not mention which football team the suspects support.
On Sunday ProRail complained about football supporters vandalizing two trains on their way to Rotterdam for the KNVB cup final between Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar.
