Girl hurt in stabbing at Amsterdam school

A pupil of the Bindelmeer College in Amsterdam Zuidoost was injured in a stabbing at the school on Thursday morning. She was stabbed in her lower body, but her injuries are not life threatening, a police spokesperson said to Het Parool.

The police responded to the secondary school on Dubbelink around 9:45 a.m. on Thursday. Another girl, also a pupil at the school, was arrested. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

The police are talking to wintesses and investigating what happened. The spokesperson could not tell Het Parool how old the involved girls are.
