Bosnian embassy worker in Den Haag arrested on war crimes charge
A Bosnian soldier working at the embassy in The Hague was arrested on suspicion of war crimes on Monday. Enes Jahic was arrested at a border crossing while trying to enter Bosnia and Herzegovina, ANP reports.
Jahic is suspected of being involved in war crimes committed by the Bosnian army against Bosnian Serbs in May 1992. Dozens of people were killed in the village of Bradina, according to the news wire. The rest of the village residents were chased off and their homes were burned down. Jahic is suspected of commanding a special police unit involved in this incident.
Another 13 people were previously arrested on suspicion of involvement in this war crime.
