Police saves woman from giving birth on Amsterdam highway
On Wednesday night the police rescued a woman in labor from a kilometer-long traffic jam on the A10 around Amsterdam. With the help of the police, an ambulance was called in, which took the woman and her husband to a hospital in time to have their baby, the police said on Twitter.
The couple was on their way to the hospital when they got stuck in traffic, caused by several accidents, according to RTL Nieuws.
After the ambulance had taken the couple to hospital, the police's transport service drove their car to them.
