At least five people were injured in an explosion at company Grasso on Parallelweg in Den Bosch on Monday morning. The street is closed in both directions, and buildings in a 200 meter radius around the company were evacuated, AD reports.

According to the newspaper, a 50 liter bottle of ammonia exploded on the Grasso premises. Paramedics treated the injured people at the scene. As far as is known, nobody had to go to hospital so far. The building sustained significant damage.

The cause of the explosion is under investigation. Grasso builds cooling systems and compressors.
