Man jumps from 4th floor to escape from police
A man in Rotterdam-Noord jumped from the fourth floor of a building in an, unsuccessful, attempt to escape from the police early on Friday morning. He was arrested some time later on Witte Zwaanhof, AD reports.
The police responded to reports of a screaming woman in a fourth floor home on Zwaanhals during the early hours of Friday morning. In the home, officers found a woman and a man. Both refused to identify themselves, so the officers arrested them. The man made a run for it, by jumping from the fourth floor.
Somehow he survived this jump in a good enough condition to run away on foot. After a long search, which included a police helicopter, the man was found in an "impossible" hiding place, one police officer said on Twitter. Exactly what this hiding place was, is unclear.
