Maserati Quattroporte smashes into half-dozen parked cars on Dutch coast

The driver of a Maserati Quattroporte caused havoc on the seaside promenade in Zandvoort on Monday morning when he crashed into several parked cars. According to a local road inspector on Twitter, seven cars were hit. Some of the cars, including the expensive Maserati itself, were severely damaged, RTL Nieuws reports.

The car shot off the road around 8:00 a.m. and crashed into the other cars, parked over an area of at least a dozen meters, according to the broadcaster. The cause of the accident is unclear. The driver was taken to hospital in unknown condition.

According to Autoblog, the Maserati's victims include a Mercedes E Class, a Volkswagen Golf, a Nissan Juke, an Opel and a Subaru Forester.
