The police believe the girls left together, a spokesperson said to Omroep Brabant. Several tips were received after the girls' descriptions were spread on Burgernet. According to the spokesperson, the police consider this a "very urgent missing person" case. "Because it involves underage girls. But also in light of the events of the past days", the spokesperson said referring to two 14-year-old girls being found dead in the province of Utrecht over the weekend.
The two Tilburg girls haven't been listed as missing on the police website as yet.
