Flying Car sales begin at Eindhoven Media Markt location

The first commercial flying car in the world, by company PAL-V in Raamsdonksveer, will be sold for one day only in the Eindhoven branch of Media Markt on Wednesday, April 26th, the electronics chain announced on Tuesday, Omroep Brabant reports.

The PAL-V Liberty Sport will be available to buy at Media Markt for 299 thousand euros. A more luxurious model will also be available for 500 thousand euros. Shoppers can book a test drive/flight for 295 euros, even if you are not considering buying one. People can also take their picture with the flying car and use a simulator to feel what it would be like to drive one.

PAL-V stands for Personal Air and Land Vehicle. The company started developing the flying car in 2007 and performed the first test flights at air base Gilze Rijen in 2012.
