Reward offered for information on Amsterdam woman's brutal murder

The Dutch authorities offered a reward of 15 thousand euros for information that leads to the resolution of the case surrounding the murder of 51-year-old Susanna Boon from Amsterdam. Boon's body was found in woods near Nunspeet on March 29th after she went missing on January 8th.

Boon disappeared after a fight with her partner on January 8th. According to the partner, she left their home on Jacob van Lennepstraat in Amsterdam Oud-West in the morning of January 8th. She used her debit card in an Albert Heijn that afternoon and then disappeared without a trace, until her body was found. She had been murdered.

The partner was arrested as a suspect in April, but released soon after. He is still considered a suspect.

On Opsporing Verzocht the police stated that Boon's body was found in a very hard to reach and find place. This leads detectives to believe that the perpetrator is familiar with the area.
