Young woman found murdered in Ede home

A young woman was found dead in a home on Agnietendaal in Ede on Tuesday night. The police believe she was murdered, the Gelederlander reports.

The victim was identified as a 19-year-old woman who lived in the home with her mother, sister and two students. Her mother found her seriously injured around 10:00 p.m. Emergency services were called in, but attempts to help her was to no avail. She died at the scene.

A team of 25 detectives are investigating. The police are calling on witnesses to come forward. Officers also want to talk to people from the neighborhood who have surveillance cameras facing the street.

A forensic team is investigating the scene and a sniffer dog was used to search the neighborhood.
