Crash with taxi cab leads to brutal assault in Tilburg
A 70-year-old man and his 47-year-old son were brutally assaulted after an accident with a taxi in Tilburg on Tuesday night, Omroep Brabant reports.
The son and his parents were driving on Sint Josephstraat towards Tivolistraat when a Mercedes taxi came pass them. As the taxi passed, there was a hard blow. It seems one of the taxi passengers opened his door and hit the family's car.
The taxi stopped and two men got out. The son went to talk to them about the damage. But the men did not want to cooperate and walked away. The son tried to stop them, his father helping.
At this point the other two men attacked. The elderly man was grabbed, beaten in the face and thrown on the ground. The son was pushed to the ground and kicked and punched in the face.
The police are looking for the perpetrators and calling on witnesses to come forward. One man is tall, has dark crew cut hair and is between 30 and 45 years old. His companion is much smaller and between 50 and 60 years old.
