Red Light District brawl leads to nine arrests, three injured

The Amsterdam police arrested nine people on Saturday night after a brawl in the Red Light District. Three people were injured. Two had to go to the hospital, though their injuries were not too serious, according to NU.nl. The brawl started in a snack bar. According to the police, the perpetrators were using broke glass in the fight. Eight of the suspects are facing public violence charges, the ninth if suspected of aggravated assault. The police are investigating exactly what happened. This is the second large brawl in the Red Light District so far this month. On September 3rd a man was so severely beaten up that he fell into a coma. He later died of his injuries.
