Shaking ABN Amro building evacuated

The ABN Amro building on De Entree in Amsterdam-Zuidoost was evacuated on Thursday after employees on the third and fourth floor felt the building shaking. The bank's emergency response guided the more than a hundred employees outside, NOS reports. The fire department and police were called in. Firefighters took measurements, but could not discover the cause of the shaking. The municipality will take over the investigation on Friday. Later in the afternoon employees were allowed to enter the building in groups to retrieve their belongings. Some people went to work from another location, others were sent home.
