Highway A59 closed at Breda after two truck accidents

The A59 east is closed at Breda between junction Zonzeel and Terheijden after two accidents involving trucks happened on Friday morning. The authorities hope to open the road to traffic by 11:00 a.m., Omroep Brabant reports. The both accidents involved cars crashing into trucks. Air ambulances were deployed for both accidents. Two people sustained minor injuries and both trucks were slightly damaged. The accidents brought traffic on the A59 to a standstill. The ANWB advises motorists heading to Den Bosch to detour through the south side of Breda on the A16, A58 or A27.
