Six arrested in Rotterdam shooting; Victim, 22, in hospital

Six people were arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Rotterdam on Sunday in which a 22-year-old was injured. The victim is in hospital, according to the police. The six arrested people are suspected of involvement in the shooting, which happened on Herman Robbersstraat in Rotterdam at around 2:15 p.m. The police found nothing but damaged cars at the scene. Witnesses reported seeing three cars speeding away from the scene, thereby damaging other cars on the street. The police launched an investigation. Two of the three cars were intercepted on Zaagmolenstraat and Noorderbrug. Four people were arrested - three Rotterdam residents aged 20, 19 and 34 years and a 25-year-old from Roermond. The investigation led the police to Vletstraat in Rotterdam, where two other suspects were arrested in a home. The victim - a 22-year-old from Rotterdam - was tracked down in the Sint Fransciscus hospital where he sought treatment for injuries to his leg. The police will question him as soon as his condition allows it.
