KLM launches orange plane

KLM's first, and for now only, orange plane took off for its first flight from Schiphol Airport on Wednesday.
The idea started out as something of a joke - on King's Day last year KLM posted a photo of an orange plane on Facebook to see the response. The message was received so well that the airline decided to go for it, RTL Nieuws reports.
The big reveal happened on Tuesday - a live stream on Facebook showed the Boeing 777 being painted mostly orange, with red, white and blue stripes.
The special orange plane will be used at Dutch events such as the Olympic games and King's Day, but also for normal everyday flights.
