Homeless woman, 47, killed in scaffolding collapse
The woman killed by falling scaffolding in The Hague on Thursday morning was identified as a 47 year old homeless woman, RTL Nieuws reports
The woman was walking past the former Ministry of Housing building on Rijnstraat when several sections of falling scaffolding hit her. The scaffolding somehow came apart and fell to the ground during lifting operations. The woman died at the scene.
The Inspectorate for Social Affairs and Employment, formerly the Labor Inspectorate, is investigating what went wrong.
