Railway construction works to cause weekend delays around Utrecht CS

Train travelers can expect delays throughout the weekend due to intensive construction works on the tracks around Utrecht Central Station, ANP reports. The track works will start at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and continue through the weekend until Sunday evening. There will be delays on almost all routes from, to and through Utrecht, ProRail warns. ProRail will be working on station platforms, on the tracks, the overhead and the security system. NS is deploying buses in many routes. On other routes passengers will have to take a detour around Utrecht. NS advises passengers to check travel information and delays on its site before starting their journey.
