Final exams start for some 210,000 Dutch high school students

About 210 thousand high school students in the Netherlands are starting their final exams this week, NU.nl reports. Students following the HAVO curriculum - the pre-collage curriculum - are starting with social sciences and physics on Thursday. Students on VWO - the pre-university curriculum - are starting with their Dutch language exam. Vocational school, known in the Netherlands as VMBO, students will start on Friday. About 110 thousand students are writing exams on VMBO level this year, 59 thousand on HAVO-level and 38 thousand on VWO The exams last until Friday May 27th, with the results expected about two weeks later.
