Police hunt masked man in sexual assault of Amsterdam woman

The police are urgently looking for witnesses that can provide any information on a sexual assault in Amsterdam on Saturday morning. A young woman was attacked by a masked man on Benedenlangs in Noord at around 8:15 a.m. The victim describes her attacker as a man of about 30 years old. He is about 1.7 meters tall, has tanned skin, short dark-brown hair and does not have a beard. He was wearing a brown jacket and a balaclava when he attacked. The police are urgently looking for anyone who may have noticed this man on Saturday morning. According to police spokesperson Ellie Lust, the victim cried out when being attacked. "There is where we call on the help of citizens, because people must have passed there. Hopefully now people will think: 'Hey, that struck me'," Lust said to AT5.
