Video shows moment Tilburg bowling alley bursts into flames

A visitor to the Dolfijn bowling center in Tilburg managed to catch the start of a fire that eventually destroyed the entire complex on camera. The fire started around 11:00 p.m. on Friday night. By Saturday morning, only the front of the building was still standing. The building was located on Ringbaan-Oost in Tilburg. Some 200 visitors had to be evacuated. According to Brabants Dagblad, two firefighters sustained minor injuries, two visitors had to go to the hospital for observation after inhaling smoke and another visitor fell ill outside. Tilburg residents are devastated by the loss of the place that, for many, was the location of their first date or birthday parties. Hundreds of people left messages of condolence, sadness and sympathy on the Dolfijn bowling center's Facebook page.
