Three missing Dutch people killed in Brussels airport bombing
Elita Weah from Deventer and Maastricht siblings Alexander and Sascha Pinczowski were all killed in the suicide bombings at Brussels airport on Tuesday, Minister Bert Koenders of Foreign Affairs just announced. "My thoughts go out to the family and friends. I wish them much strength with this terrible loss. It is horrible that these people were slain b y the arbitrariness of terror", he said. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed the victims' families about the bad news during the night. The Belgian authorities are still working on identifying all the victims of the suicide bombings at the airport and the Maalbeek metro station. No further Dutch are known to be missing. Weah and the Pinczowski siblings were all at the airport waiting for a flight to the United States. Sascha and Alexander both live in America and were returning home. Weah was on her way to attend her stepfather's funeral. "Terrorism knows no boundaries and no compassion. The attacks in Brussels on Tuesday showed that again", Koenders said.
