Moment of silence planned for 14th min. of Oranje-France friendly
A minute of silence will be held during the friendly match between Oranje and France in Amsterdam on Friday to pay tribute to football legend Johan Cruijff. Cruijff passed away on Thursday after a battle with lung cancer.
The minute of silence is planned for the 14th minute of the match, Dutch football association KNVB announced. Cruijff wore the number 13 for much of his football career.
Another minute of silence will be held before the start of the game. This is to commemorate the victims of the terrorist attacks in Belgium on Tuesday. Three Dutch were killed in suicide bombings at Brussels airport.
