Getaway car found in Amsterdam severed head murder
The police connected a second burnt out car to the murder of beheaded Nabil Amzieb in Amsterdam. A burnt out Volkswagen Polo was discovered on Kelbergen in Amsterdam Zuidoost on Wednesday morning. The police believe it was used as a getaway car.
Amzieb's decapitated body was found in a burnt out Volkswagen Caddy on Mijehof in Zuidoost on Tuesday morning. His head was found in front of known criminal hang out Fayrouz Lounge on Amstelveenseweg on Wednesday morning.
According to the police, the burnt out Polo was found around 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, about an hour before the first reports of the severed head came in. The car was registered as stolen. It was found with duplicated licence plates - the original license plates belong to a car in Utrecht that has nothing to do with this case.
A massive team of some 40 detectives is currently working this case, AT5 reports. So far the police have not received any tips about the murder.
