Police find 1,200 kilograms of heroin at Rotterdam office
The police confiscated 1,200 kilograms of heroin in an office building on Passerelstraat in Rotterdam earlier this week. The drugs were destroyed on Wednesday. The police searched the building based on anonymous tips. Two men were arrested in the building - a 37 year old from Rotterdam and a 37 year old from Sommelsdijk. According to the Public Prosecutor in Rotterdam, the heroin has a street value of 36 million euros. The two suspects are in custody, and more arrests may follow. The police call this one of the biggest drug finds in the region. Photo captions previously indicated that cocaine was found at the location. Only heroin was found there.
