Prosecutor won’t comment on ex-KLM CEO domestic violence claim

The Public Prosecutor is refusing to comment on whether or not former CEO Camiel Eurlings will be prosecuted regarding a former model's claim that he assaulted her. The Prosecutor can't comment due to "privacy reasons", RTL Nieuws reports. Eurlings himself and his lawyer Geert-Jan Knoops are also silent on the matter. The police confirmed to the broadcaster, that a 33-year-old woman pressed charges of assault against a 42-year-old man from Valkenburg, where Eurlings is from, in December. According to the woman, the assault happened in July. The police would not make any further comment.
