Quickly growing Eindhoven Airport to build new baggage hall
Eindhoven Airport is building a new baggage hall to compensate for the growth anticipated at the airport. In October last year the airport was given the green-light to increase the number of flights to 43 thousand a year.
The new baggage hall will be located on the right side of the arrivals- and departures hall, Omroep Brabant reports. Baggage handling will be done on the ground floor and there will be office on the first floor. The hall will cover a total area of nearly 5 thousand square meters.
The new hall is expected to be put into use in the spring of 2017. According to the airport, it will more than double the current baggage system's capacity.
