Suspect at large in fatal stabbing near Amsterdam central station
A 24 year old man was stabbed on the bridge between Hotel Victoria and Amsterdam Central Station on Monday evening. The police are looking for the perpetrator.
According to the police, the man collapsed just after 10:30 p.m. with a stab wound in his chest. He was resuscitated and rushed to the hospital, where he passed away.
The police are looking for the perpetrator. Bystanders saw a man running away shortly after the victim collapsed. They describe him as a white man, between the ages of 30 and 35 years and about 1.7 meters tall. He wore a dark jacket, had an unkempt appearance and stubble on his cheeks.
The police would like to make contact with any witnesses who have not spoken to an officer yet and anyone with any information about the perpetrator's whereabouts.
