Brussels to Amsterdam train evacuated as bomb squad investigate
Update, 3:28 p.m., 25 November 2015: There was no danger involved with the left-behind shoulder bag, police said.
A train on its way from Brussels to Amsterdam was stopped at the Roosendaal station after an abandoned laptop bag was discovered in a first class carriage. All passengers were evacuated.
According to the police, two explosives experts were called in. They investigated the bag and found that it contained a laptop. It was not immediately clear whether the laptop contained anything dangerous.
"You can not be too careful, given the state of the world", a police spokesperson told broadcaster NOS. "We are super alert and we hope to soon be able to say that it was just an unattended laptop."
The incident did not affect other rail traffic.
