Amersfoort pays compensation to pedophile

Amersfoort has paid 4 thousand euros in compensation to Sytze van der V. because mayor Lucas Bolsuis revealed his address last year. The court ruled that the city has to pay compensation in April and the municipality has now decided not to appeal against the ruling, a spokesperson said to AD on Tuesday. "Everything that the municipality had to say on this matter has been said at this point and after studying the verdict we see no reason to add something now or to repeat something." the spokesperson said. Van der V. confirmed on Twitter on Tuesday that he had received the amount in April and paid all of it on lawyer fees. https://twitter.com/sytze_van_der_v/status/620902288773656576 Van der V. demanded 20 thousand euros in compensation. There were riots and demonstrations in front of his apartment after the mayor announced his address.
