Driver mows down three in park after argument

A motorist ran over three people with his car in a park on Thomaslaan in Eindhoven on Monday night. The accident happened around 8:30 p.m. The victims and the motorist know each other. An eyewitness told Omroep Brabant that the group were drinking in the park and got into an argument. One of them became angry, walked to his car and drove into the group. The motorist fled the scene. He was arrested in Helmond around midnight, the Eindhoven police reports on Twitter.

At least three people were injured. The police performed a trace evidence investigation in the park and are investigating the circumstance surrounding the accident.
