Sisters fear retribution from brother/crime boss Holleeder
The phone restrictions on Willem Holleeder in the maximum security prison in Vught, was lifted last week. He may now make phone calls. This worries Holleeder's sisters and ex-girlfriend - they are afraid that Holleeder will take revenge on them from jail.
According to the Telegraaf, the Public Prosecutor decided that there is no reason to isolate Holleeder any longer in the interest of the investigation. The three women gave testimony against Holleeder, linking him to the assassinations of, among others, Cor van Hout in 2003, businessman Willem Endstra in 2004 and criminal John Mieremet in 2005.
Holleeder will appear in court again on Thursday for his involvement in the murder of Thomas van der Bijl in 2006 and Cees Houtman in 2005. He is also accused of participating in a criminal organization involved in assassination. This criminal organization also includes Dino Soerel, Fred Ros, Jesse R. and assassinated Ali Akgun.
The Public Prosecutor is expected to announce whether the notorious criminal will be charged with any more murders today.
