ANWB: Drivers definitely need sunglasses today

The ANWB advises motorists to wear sunglasses during the morning and evening rush hour on Thursday as the low hanging sun could hamper drivers' vision. The traffic service also warns that the roads may be busier than usual today. Today is a public holiday in Germany and many Germans are expected to come to the Netherlands for the long weekend. Some of the German's favorite destinations are Friesland, Veluwe and the coast, including the the Wadden islands. The busiest roads are likely to be the A1 Hengelo towards Amersfoort, A12 from the German border towards Arnhem and the A67 from Venlo towards Eindhoven.
