Utrecht train issues may make busy rush hour even worse

A blown overhead contact line between Geldermalsen and Den Bosch has resulted in no trains traveling that route until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. The ANWB expects that this may make the evening rush hour even worse, RTL Nieuws reports. People traveling by train between Den Bosch and Utrecht are advised to travel via Arnhem. People traveling between Eindhoven and Amsterdam Central should travel via Rotterdam. According to the NS, travelers should take an extra hour of travel time into account. The ANWB expects Tuesday's evening rush hour to be a busy one, due to the bad weather. The ANWB advises motorists to not drive with a caravan or trailer this afternoon due to the strong winds.
