Dutch tourist killed in Dominican plane crash

A Dutch tourist was one of seven people who died in a plane crash in the Dominican Republic, NOS reports. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the tourist's family has been informed. The plane crashed on a golf course and caught fire. It is believed that the pilot was trying to make an emergency landing due to engine problems. Dominican newspaper El Nuevo Diario reports that seven people were killed in the accident, including two Britons and two Spaniards.
