Strong wind advisory expanded Monday, Tuesday
The Code Yellow warning for strong winds until Tuesday, the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute reports.
This morning there will be strong winds of up to 80 kilometers per hour in the western and north western coastal areas of the country. These winds will taper down through the course of the morning. This warning remains in effect until 12:00 p.m. today.
The winds will pick up again later today and there will be strong winds of up to 100 kilometers per hour in the coastal areas tonight. The strong winds will spread over the rest of the country tomorrow morning, where winds of up to 90 kilometers per hour can be expected. This warning covers most of the Netherlands until midnight Tuesday night.
