Fog causes Eindhoven air traffic delays
Fog brought air traffic at Eindhoven airport to a standstill this morning, NOS reports.
Not a single flight has departed from or landed on the airport today. Five planes are waiting for the weather to clear before they can take off. A flight from Hungary to Eindhoven was diverted to Weeze in Germany because of the fog.
Several parts of the highways also had to be closed early this morning due to accidents that happened in the fog. The A12 between Utrecht and Arnhem was closed at Oosterbeek for some time. There was also a disruption on the A12 between The Hague and Utrecht. The highways were reopened around 06:30 a.m.
