Multiple deaths a coincidence, not CO poisoning

The police investigation into the two bodies found in a house on Einderstraat in Schinveld, Limburg on Sunday has been closed. The investigation showed that both the man and the woman died of natural causes, the police report on their website. The police found the bodies of an elderly man and woman in the house on Sunday, February 1st. An investigation was launched as it is unusual to find two bodies in a single location and because the cause of death was not immediately clear. The investigation into the cause of death took several days because blood cultures had to be done to determine whether these people had been drugged in any way. It now appears that both individuals died a natural death and that no crime was committed.
