Elderly man plows cyclists, gets beaten

A 19-year-old woman from Steenbergen was admitted to the hospital in Groningen on Sunday afternoon, after a 90-year-old motorist crashed into her bicycle.

The accident happened around 5.00pm. The elderly man from Leek hit the 19-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man from behind. Both fell to the ground, and the woman sustained serious injuries to her head. The young man was unhurt. Enraged, he mistreated the old man, who then also required treatment in the hospital. It is not clear what the young woman’s condition is.
