Netherlands raised €471k for Movember; 8th worldwide

Approximately 10 thousand men raised almost 500 thousand euro for prostate- and testicular cancer research with their mustache action in Movember. This was reported by the Dutch organization for Movember after the closing of the national campaign on Monday. Footbal commentator Youri Mulder, DJ Paul Morales and the skaters Kjeld Nuis and Koen Verweij, among others, wore their mustaches with pride for the fundraising. Worldwide more than 700 thousand men raised nearly 50 million for Movember. The final amount will be announced on December 9th. Thus far the Netherlands has raised the 8th most money world wide. Canada is at number one with more than 13 million euro raised.
